Brian Proulx: A Journey into Hypnotherapy

My name is Brian Proulx, and I hail from El Cajon, California. After 26 years of service in the U.S. Navy, I relocated to Orange Park, Florida, from Boston, Massachusetts, where I served as a Medical Recruiter in 2004.

Early in my military career, I developed a passion for psychology while seeking personal growth and spiritual grounding. This led me to study theology at Berean Bible College.

My fascination with hypnosis and the transformative potential of hypnotherapy was ignited by Transforming Therapy: A New Approach to Hypnotherapy by Gil Boyne and Hypnotherapy by Dave Elman, books I discovered at a used bookstore.

I have pursued training as a Hypnotherapist through The Florida Institute of Hypnotherapy (now known as the Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy ) in Tampa, Florida in 2008, and the “world-renowned” Hypnotherapy Academy of America in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2015. At the latter I received additional training as a Medical Support Clinical Hypnotherapist, as well as Regression, Neonatal Regression and Past Life Regression Therapy. Both schools are licensed through their respective state and national educational systems.

I am currently certified as a Hypnotherapist by the International Board of Interpersonal Hypnotherapists (Certification #: 7496829. Additionally, I hold certification as a Certified Medical Support Clinical Hypnotherapist and Fellow thru the International Board of Hypnotherapy (Certification#: 10315-365).
